Sinopsis

A short film that captures a life-changing dilemma for a Mexican-American bride standing on the brink of traditional expectations. As Gloria prepares to marry her fiancé, Rodrigo, she is consumed by her secret, forbidden love for Emilia—a graceful, queer white woman who refuses to remain hidden in the shadows of heteronormativity. Through flashbacks to the night before the wedding, the film reveals the intense passion and friction between the two women. After an ultimatum from Emilia and a tense discovery by Gloria's sister, Sophia, the reality of their secret shatters the veil of the wedding festivities. Back in the present, Gloria faces a stark ultimatum: if she proceeds with the wedding, Emilia will leave to pursue a life of authenticity and freedom, fleeing the concealment of their relationship. As Rodrigo unknowingly waits at the altar, Gloria is left with the ultimate, breathless choice—honor her cultural tradition, or risk everything to follow a path of true self-discovery.
